I went to four different stores yesterday and none of them had Windows XP. I made a last ditch effort to reinstall Vista when we got back and it worked! I plan on getting Windows 7 sometime after it's released (it releases on October 22), but until then, I'll stick with Vista. I'm currently in the process of reinstalling all my software and retrieving the most recent versions of my novels from Box.net. They're all current except for Cottage, so I'm happy. :)I have to say, I'm very relieved to have the laptop up and running again! It's not easy when things go haywire! :P
