I don't know how much writing I'll do today. I plan on doing some reading, though. I'm hoping to finish William W. Johnstone's The First Mountain Man: Preacher. I have less than a hundred pages left. Then I want to start on Terry C. Johnston's Sioux Dawn. I read this one years ago, but I want to read it again.
The wedding was short and sweet and Eric and Chelsey are now husband and wife. :) We had dinner at The Cajun Back Door (I have no idea why I kept calling it The Cajun Cafe). Their food is great! :D The pastor who married them invited us to his church. Jeff works on Sundays, but maybe he and I can go tomorrow night...? I really want to find a church to go to.
Eric and Chelsey are planning on taking Josiah's swing to one of the stores in town to sell it. They want me to watch Josiah. I'll read while I'm watching him.
If I have time later, I want to work on ideas for the new story and screenplay.
Have a great afternoon! :D

Character Journal Update:
I've finished working on and posting the character journal entries...Finally. Somehow, I managed to forget poor Jack Hunter (from The Amnesiac), but I'll write his up sometime this weekend.
Here's my tally:
Lucky: 1,243
Zane: 727
Fox: 531
Sawyer: 774
Katie: 1,006
Vaughn: 561
Weston: 774
For a grand total of: 5,614 words! :D
The new characters promise to be pretty interesting. Katie, as you know, has been through a lot with her first husband, and that's in her first post. Vaughn is a Lakota orphan who was raised by whores and Weston is a white orphan raised by the Lakota. I'll reveal soon how Vaughn and Weston become brothers. :)
Oops! I'd better give the device to Eric. All things considered, he's been pretty patient.
Have a great evening!

Thursdays Are For Writing!
I never got any writing done yesterday, so I'll be writing today. I'll be working on my character journals. I can't wait! I'll be adding entries for the main characters in my new story, too! I may write this story during Nanowrimo this year, but I'm not sure. It's a toss up between this new one and The Amnesiac, starring Jack Hunter. I've come up with a working title and names for the main characters of the new story. The working title is Cutter's Revenge and the main characters are Katherine "Katie" Celeste Blake Cavanaugh, Vaughn Cutter and Vaughn's brother, Weston Cutter. What do you think? :)
I finally finished Blood Bond, by William W. Johnstone. Now I've begun another of his books, The First Mountain Man: Preacher. He's only twelve years old right now and he's already been through a lot, poor kid! He's a good kid, though. He hasn't let his circumstances get him down and they haven't compromised his sense of right and wrong.
Of course, he's just been clunked over the head. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the time when I can pick it up and discover what happens next! :)
Anyway, I've got to put the last load of laundry in the dryer, wash the dishes real quick, then get busy on the entries.
But first, I've got to check in with the writer's forum.
Have a great day!

Writing-related Day Today
Yesterday was good. Jeff and I went to Walmart after dinner. Our washing machine has been leaking outside, so Jeff got an auger and some drain cleaner. He also got snacks and I got some printer paper.
The kids are getting married on Friday and there's a chance we may go up to Joplin this weekend, but I'm not sure yet. It would be fun to take a road trip up there. :)
Well, I need to hurry up on here and go get something to eat (scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms in them), then get to work.
Have an awesome day! :D

My Writing Progress for Today:
I wrote 1,621 words in the Cottage novel. I haven't written in it for a while, so it was good to get back in touch with it after all this time. :)
Then I wrote 3,638 words in From the Ashes, my Zane Greywolf novel. I've still got a ways to go with this one and I'm loving the process. I love this story! :D
I finished my writing day by adding 3,114 words to Sons of the Wild Frontier: Phoenix Rising, bringing my grand total for the day to 8,373. Today's SotWF writing was about Fox. He's having a tough time of it right now, but he refuses to give in to his circumstances. He won't let things get him down.
And that's it for today. Tomorrow will be a reading day.
Have a great afternoon and evening! :D
